Many of us have no idea what the people around us are dealing with. We are currently in a pandemic and a lot of people have experienced increased pain, trauma, and even death of loved ones. Some of the people close to us have buried themselves in work, school, and addictive lifestyles to numb the hurt and emotional trauma.
I remember at the beginning of this pandemic how we had to stay at home and or quarantine. While it’s still happening across the world, this course of action increased anxiety and major panic attacks on many of us. Let us not forget how we couldn’t visit our loved ones who were undergoing treatment in hospitals across the world for whatever issues they have or even attend funerals for those who passed away.
Has anybody ever stopped to address the emotional turmoil that has been brought upon us? Has anyone stopped to check in on our “strong friend”? Has anyone checked on themselves lately? ARE YOU ALRIGHT? Beloved, these are the questions we fail to ask and or answer because we have been locked into a broken place and system over the past few months.
I want to encourage someone today, stop for a second. INHALE then EXHALE. Love on yourself, pace yourself, check in with others, seek professional help if needs be, and above all things seek God daily.
Today I declare healing and restoration in your mind, body, and spirit. Even though we are still in a pandemic, we will not lose ourselves amid the chaos.
While we continue to push through these difficult times, let us be compassionate towards each other, support those in need, and pray continuously for healing and restoration individually and collectively.
But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 30:17
